I'm writing about your rankings sidebar in the November 2002 story concerning centers ["Man in the Middle"]. I was wondering why Denver's Tom Nalen isn't in your ranking of the top five centers. The man is a four-time Pro Bowler and has anchored one of the best lines in the NFL for the past nine years.

Don't forget that he has two Super Bowl rings. Some of the men chosen by you are quality centers, but Tom Nalen has more Pro Bowl appearances than most of the centers on thy list. I believe he should have been at No. 2, at the very worst.
