* A 1921 silver dollar was used when the Steelers and the Chicago Bears flipped to see who would have the first pick in the 1970 draft. The Steelers won and selected Terry Bradshaw.

* Bradshaw never threw for 400 yards in a game.

* Third-year running back Amos Zereoue was born in the Ivory Coast.

* At 38, Bill Cowher became the youngest head coach ever to lead his team to a Super Bowl when the Steelers went to Super Bowl 30 in 1995.

* In 1952, the Steelers became the last team to abandon the single wing for the T-formation.
