The consecutive number of times Emmitt Smith has rushed for 1,000 yards in a season. By rushing for 1,021 yards in 2001, he established an NFL record for the most consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 yards.

The NFL-leading number of interceptions thrown by Kansas City quarterback Trent Green, breaking the old Chiefs single-season record of 23, established by Cotton Davidson in 1961.

The number of rushing yards for Indianapolis Colts rookie running back Dominic Rhodes. He became the first undrafted free agent in league history to rush for 1,000 yards.

The number of points the St. Louis Rams scored, making them the first team in NFL history to score 500 points in three straight seasons.

The number of yards from scrimmage for Rams running back Marshall Faulk, making him the first player in NFL history with four straight 2,000-yard seasons.

The number of games the Cowboys lost. The Cowboys also lost 11 games in 2000. It was the first time since 1988 and '89 that Dallas posted consecutive seasons with double-digit losses.

The number of interceptions by both Ronde Barber of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Anthony Henry of the Cleveland Browns, the highest picks total since Mark Carrier had 10 in 1990.

The record of the Buffalo Bills, their worst since they went 2-14 in 1985.

The record number of seasons in which Brett Favre has thrown at least 30 touchdown passes, following his 32-TD performance in 2001. Dan Marino, with four, is the only other NFL player to have more than two 30-TD seasons.
