Phil Esposito fan
Hockey Digest, Nov-Dec, 2004 by Susan Watkins
I think the three most exciting players of all time are Phil Esposito, Tony Esposito, and Bobby Orr. Phil has been my hero, idol, and inspiration since 1970. Your "Bin File" on him [February 2004] was really nice. The question I have about Phil is when did he retire as a player? I am also curious about the date Maurice "Rocket" Richard passed away?

Phil Esposito's last season as a player in the NHL was with the Rangers in 1980-81. He later returned as a general manager of the Rangers and the Lightning.
