Early hockey memory: "Going out there and seeing how fast I can go--that was the biggest thrill for me. That and putting the puck in the net, which is always an incredible feeling."

Funny hockey memory: "It's kind of embarrassing. I'm a very deep sleeper, and one time on a team plane I fell asleep and my teammates proceeded to put peanuts all over me--in my nostrils, ears, belly button. They must've gone through a whole crate because I was covered in peanuts.
Favorite meal: "The Cajun rib-eye at Morton's Steakhouse."

Best sports moments: "My first NHL All-Star Game in Chicago in 1991 and playing in the Stanley Cup Finals in 1992 with Chicago."
Most painful moment: "Losing the Stanley Cup Finals in Chicago."
Worst injury: "I shattered my jaw in four places. Also. I blew out my left knee twice. I've broken every one of my toes and fingers. And my feelings have been hurt many, many times."

Qualities most admired: "In general, hard workers. People who work the hardest. People who put their lives in danger everyday, like policeman, soldiers, and firemen. Anybody that risks their life everyday is something special."
Future ambitions: "My only goal is to win the Stanley Cup and to do what I've got to do to win that. After hockey, I'd like to go into color commentary, be on TV, do some sportscasting, and maybe have my own show. I want to stay in the game somehow."
