That was an interesting feature in your November 2002 issue on Bryan Trottier taking over the helm for the Rangers ["An Islander in the Garden"]. As a loyal Rangers fan, I have to admit to being conflicted about hiring one of our long-time foes, and I have had a hard time accepting Trottier behind the Rangers bench.

However, five years without a playoff berth is a long time, and if Trottier can lead the Rangers back to the postseason, I'll find it a lot easier to accept him as one of our own.
