Defending Roy - The Fans Speak Out

I am a die-hard Montreal Canadiens fan, but even more so a Patrick Roy fan. I have to ask, how can your readers question Roy's skills ["The Fans Speak Out," December]? He is, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest goalie of all time. He has broken so many records. Also he has been on only two teams, unlike Dominik Hasek, Curtis Joseph, and Ed Belfour.

Roy does make mistakes, but he doesn't make too many. Roy is the best goalie in history and he still has a lot more games to play.
