* Chris Jericho's real name is Chris Irvine.
* Ted Irvine, Jericho's father, played 12 seasons in the NHL for the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, and St. Louis Blues between 1963 and 1978. In 724 career games he scored 154 goals and 177 assists for 331 points, Irvine also racked up 657 career penalty minutes.
* Jericho was cut from his high school hockey team his senior year at Westwood Collegiate in Winnipeg.
* By beating WWF champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and WCW champion the Rock on December 9, 2001, in San Diego, Jericho became the first undisputed world champion in the modern era of wrestling.
* Jericho majored in journalism at Red River Community College in Winnipeg and worked for a time at The Calgary Sun covering sports.
* Jericho learned the wrestling business at the renowned Hart Training Camp in Calgary.
* Jericho's first appearance on a national WWF broadcast was on the August 9, 1999, episode of "Raw" live from Chicago. Previous to his WWF debut he spent four years in WCW.
* Jericho's official bio lists him at 6'0" and 231 pounds.
* Jericho was born on November 9, 1970, in New York City.
* Jericho's signature closing move is dubbed the Walls of Jericho.
* Among the titles Jericho has held are: undisputed WWF champion; WCW champion; intercontinental champion (four times); European champion; hardcore champion; tag-team champion (two times); WCW TV champion; and WCW cruiserweight champion.
