Crystal's "Passport To Music" - Cruise News

Cruise Travel, July-August, 2003

Crystal Cruises has teamed with music pioneer Yamaha to offer a comprehensive program of music instruction, "Passport To Music" as part of the line's innovative new "Creative Learning Institute," set to debut aboard the Crystal Serenity, scheduled to enter service in July.

Passport To Music instruction will be offered in The Studio, the new ship's hands-on, high-tech, dedicated facility created expressly for CLI programs. The Studio will be outfitted with 16 portable Yamaha grand piano keyboards and supported with the Clavinova digital piano. Certified Yamaha music teachers will be onboard to lead an innovative and fun course of piano-style instruction to groups of 12 to 15 guests.

The CLI is an extensive new series of interactive classes offered by Crystal that provide comprehensive instruction focusing on improving wellness and enhancing quality of life. CLI is the latest development in the line's highly regarded "Crystal Visions Enrichment Program" of renowned speakers, special-interest lecturers, and celebrities. CLI is scheduled to be added to the Crystal Harmony and Crystal Symphony in 2004.
