Topic: RSS FeedWhither the Norway?
Cruise Travel, July-August, 2005 by Charles H. Dubose, Sr.
I have been a loyal subscriber to Cruise Travel for many years and dearly love the magazine. I am writing in hopes of you helping me in finding out what happened to the SS Norway, originally the France.
I have sailed on the Norway many times over the years, and understand that she was in drydock in Germany making repairs and preparing to sail again. If you could find out if she intends to sail again, under what name, and her intended ports-of-call, I would be very much in your debt.
Also, I would like to see an article in your magazine featuring these older graceful beauties. I have been cruising now for over 40 years and much prefer the older and more graceful ships. Thanking you in advance.
Charles H. Dubose Sr., Roseboro, NC At presstime the Norway was reportedly under tow, en route to Port Kelang, Malaysia, where she will begin a transformation into a casino venture to be based in Southeast Asia.
