Regal's Goblins & Giblets - Regal Cruises' service to the Bahamas during Halloween and Thanksgiving - Brief Article

Cruise Travel, Oct, 2001

Regal Cruises is celebrating Halloween and Thanksgiving with two cruises to the Bahamas, departing Ft. Lauderdale October 29 and November 17, respectively.

Passengers may want to pack costumes as the 900-passenger Regal Empress spends Halloween day on the island of San Salvador, the reputed first New World landfall site of Christopher Columbus in 1492. The following day is spent on Eleuthera; Nassau is the final port-of-call on the five-night cruise.

The seven-night Thanksgiving cruise features turkey with all the traditional fixings, served while en route to Key West, Florida. Pre-holiday ports in the Bahamas are Nassau, San Salvador, and Eleuthera.
