Cunard "Pairs" Classic Ships - Brief Article

Cruise Travel, Nov, 2000

Cunard Line has announced the creation of a new concept in cruise vacations: one grand holiday aboard two classic ocean liners. Entitled Cunard's "Perfectly Paired Passages," the concept allows travelers to make a single purchase and journey across the Atlantic aboard the famed Queen Elizabeth 2 before or after sailing on QE2's running mate, the Caronia, for a romantic voyage in either Europe or North America.

Ranging from 18 to 24 days, these grand holidays offer guests a variety of 13 different cruise packages in 2001. Each QE2 trans-Atlantic crossing features a different theme cruise, from a "Big Bands, At Sea" to a "Great Authors-Literary Festival." Some combinations even allow those who prefer not to fly at all to cruise the Atlantic both ways onboard the two ships.
