Cruise Travel, Dec, 2001 by Ed Moss, Marilyn Moss
As I read Eleanor Harris's article "Ga-Ga Over Islands" in the October 2001 Cruise Travel, l realized that we had experienced the same events on the Nordic Prince. It was Sunday, October 21st, when we saw the results of the five-day-old garbage strike in Martinique. On Monday, October 22nd, as we were eating breakfast, we heard the captain tell us that we would not call in Barbados due to a dock strike called that morning. On to Antigua and St. Thomas. What a great cruise anyway! We love the islands! Thanks, Eleanor for the memories of that same cruise. By the way, the year was 1984.
