Cruise Travel, Dec, 2001
American Cruise Lines has added an exciting "Great Rivers of Florida Cruise" to its updated cruise schedule. Travelers can now get closer than ever to rare wildlife, breathtaking scenery, and historic sites along the smooth inland waters of warm, sunny Florida.
The new seven-night cruise, which debuts on December 1, sails roundtrip from Fernandina Beach, FL. Passengers will travel on the St. Johns and Tolomato rivers, cruise through fascinating coves and lakes, and explore the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge, as well as visit beautiful ports-of-call such as St. Marys, GA, and St. Augustine and Sanford, FL.
And in 2002, travelers interested in this cruise will be able to choose between two ACL ships. The line's second vessel, the M/V American Glory, is currently three months ahead of her construction schedule. Like sister-ship American Eagle, she accommodates 49 just passengers.
