Cruise Travel, Nov-Dec, 2003 by James McGeney, Patricia McGeney
This was our 34th cruise, and the first one to Alaska, and it was the best one. We sailed on Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sky. I am handicapped, but found I had very little trouble doing things--even getting on the tender was no problem. We had always went with a group before, and had meals as a group, but I found out that this "Freestyle Cruising" dining style was not bad.
The only thing that bothered us was sitting at the Captain's Cocktail Party, me in my tux and my wife in a gown, and the people next to us had on sneakers, jeans, and shorts. I don't know who was out of place, us or them. We also found that we can't afford the price of Bingo anymore, and we were wondering how much money they cut out of the game, because the prize money given out was not that much.
We had a great time and are planning our next cruise already.
