Cruise Travel, Nov-Dec, 2003 by Kirk Heaton
I'm a travel agent, and I'm writing in response to all the letters concerning dancing on the cruise ships.
I've been on three Carnival cruises since 1994, and oil each cruise the "show band" has played for dancing in the main show lounge with the whole stage for a dance floor. In terms of variety of music, if someone wants to hear a cha-cha, tango, or waltz, all one has to do is speak up. Start with the band leader if not the cruise director. We all know the cruise lines will do anything within reason to accommodate and please their guests.
