Topic: RSS FeedInside cabin with a view
Cruise Travel, Nov-Dec, 2004 by Bette Blanchfield
My daughter and I recently returned from a Southern Caribbean cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sky. She is a lovely ship with a great itinerary, and we had a wonderful time.
We would have preferred to book an oceanview or balcony cabin, but NCL offered such a bargain price on an inside cabin that we couldn't resist taking advantage of it. Before the cruise I purchased a "window" picture (about $10) of a beautiful island setting complete with palm trees, tropical flowers, sandy beach, sailboats, and turquoise water. While on one of our island port visits, we bought a few exotic flowers and souvenirs and added them to our cabin decor. Each time we walked into our stateroom we enjoyed a lovely "outside" view (pictured above) at a low inside price!
