Topic: RSS FeedPrincess shows real class - Letters - Letter to the Editor
Cruise Travel, March-April, 2002 by Carol M. Langdoc
Last September 11 we found ourselves in Turkey aboard the Golden Princess. At the end of the cruise, we had planned to spend an extra day in Istanbul. With the problem with flights, Princess Cruises--at its expense--put us up in the hotel for an extra day. The following day we were taken back aboard the ship in the same quality of lovely accommodations we had booked. (We were issued key cards that simply said "Honored Guest.") We took another day aboard to reach Athens, where we were booked on a charter flight to New York City. There, Princess booked hotel rooms for all of us who needed to fly to other locations.
I was so pleased with our treatment that I wrote the line, and here's the result: Princess wrote back thanking us and in appreciation made available a $50 onboard credit for our next cruise. Now this is real class, and we have booked on the Royal Princess for the next summer.
