Carnival's "exotic" Caribbean - Cruise News - new cruise itinerary - Brief Article

Cruise Travel, March-April, 2003

Carnival Cruise Lines is introducing a new year-round four-port "Exotic Western Caribbean" itinerary from Tampa, Florida, featuring Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Belize, on the "Fun Ship" Inspiration. The weeklong voyages will depart every Sunday, beginning May 4, replacing the ship's current seven-day schedule from Tampa, which will continue through the departure of April 27.

The Inspiration's new itinerary features an intriguing combination of ports that provide an exciting spectrum of sights and experiences, coupled with the ease and convenience of departing from Tampa. The wide-ranging sightseeing and activity choices presented on this route--from exploring ancient Maya ruins, or diving and snorkeling at world-renowned locations, to biking or horseback-riding through tropical rain forests, and lounging on some of the Caribbean's most pristine beaches--will delight cruise passengers.
