Seven Seas Mariner: first all-suite/all-veranda vessel sets standards of spaciousness - cruise ship

Cruise Travel, May-June, 2002 by Theodore W. Scull

Money Matters: Upon check-in, passengers set up an account for all shipboard purchases, except for the Casino. Cash, traveler's checks, and major credit cards are accepted for payment. Gratuities are included in the cruise fares, and additional amounts are not expected. All accounts are in U.S. dollars. Foreign exchange in some ports, with re-exchange of most currencies (bills only).

Itineraries/Fares: On April 26 the Seven Seas Mariner moves trans-Atlantic to cruise the Mediterranean and Northern Europe for the spring, summer, and fall of 2002. Cruises vary in length from seven to 11 days, with per person/per diems starting at about $450 and running up to about $1,900.
