Topic: RSS FeedHAL's Personal Postage stamps
Cruise Travel, May-June, 2004
Under its $225 million "Signature Of Excellence" initiative, Holland America Line recently launched "Personal Postage" aboard its flagship Rotterdam on her 10-day Panama Canal cruises. This unique product of the postal authority of the Netherlands Antilles allows cruise passengers to post mail with legal stamps bearing their own likeness from any Netherlands Antilles port. (The Rotterdam calls at Curacao on its itineraries that feature a partial Panama Canal transit.)
Passengers may select any photo, taken onboard or brought from home, in either a digital or non-digital format. For $20.95 they receive a presentation sheet of 10 "peel & stick" full-color stamps, each valid to send a postcard or standard-size letter from the Netherlands Antilles (Bonaire, Curacao. Saba, St. Maarten, and St. Eustatius) to anywhere in the world.
For more information contact your travel agent or Holland America Line (Cruise Travel Magazine), 300 Elliott Ave. W., Seattle, WA 98119; or log on to www.holland america.com.
