The Follies House, a big yellow Victorian aimed at creative types, gamblers, and racetrack fans, is located in the historic district of Ballston Spa, just a throw of the dice from Saratoga Springs Race Track. Not a bed and breakfast, it offers three apartment suites (rented out on a weekly basis) with their own bathroom and kitchen.
The one-bedroom Boomers Pad has a 1950s and '60s decor, with vinyl records, retro artwork, and a cool pink sofa. The two-bedroom Broadway Suite recalls vintage musicals and Hollywood classics, while the Empire Casino is a two-bedroom, two-story townhouse that features a roulette table and Victrola. Summer rates start at $900 per week.
