Loews Hotels will bring the enchantment of the South Pacific to Orlando in 2002 when the Royal Pacific Resort becomes the third on-site hotel at Universal Orlando. The resort will feature 1,000 guest rooms and suites, a variety of themed dining options, retail shops, fitness center, children's activity center, a massive pool with an interactive water area, and elaborate landscaping with waterfalls and lagoons.
Guests will also enjoy exclusive onsite hotel benefits such as "no line, no wait" access to most fides, shows, and attractions at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure; early theme park admission on select days; priority restaurant seating; and character breakfasts. Universal's other on-site hotels are the 750-room Portofino Bay Hotel and 650-room Hard Rock Hotel.
