It's not too early to book your summer dude ranch vacation at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch in Colorado's Rocky Mountain foothills between Estes Park and Fort Collins. Besides horseback riding, activities include bird-watching and nature hikes, fishing, tennis, swimming in an outdoor heated pool, hayrides, Western dancing, and whitewater rafting. A children's program for ages 6-12, scheduled daily from noon to 4 p.m., features riding instruction, ranch chores, colt care, roping, and tubing.
