The rustic, northwoods-style Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort has rapidly grown over the past two years to become one of the Midwest's top family travel destinations. Located on 310 acres in Wisconsin Dells, the sprawling resort has 443 guest rooms, three indoor water parks (one with a wave pool), and two outdoor water parks. Cabins, vacation villas, and condominiums are part of the mix and include Wilderness on the Lake, a new condominium complex overlooking Lake Delton. Families also enjoy the dry indoor play park. two mega arcades, and a variety of restaurants, including Field's steakhouse and Sarento's, a new Italian eatery. Besides an 18-hole championship golf course, there's the six-hole Little Links course, designed with families in mind.
