Cabela's newest retail store has opened near Wheeling, West Virginia, near the Dallas Pike Exit of Interstate 70. The 175,000-square-foot store is a mecca for those looking for hunting, fishing, and outdoor gear. It features a furniture department, gun library, restaurant, general store, fly fishing store, and bargain cave and gift shop.
Other highlights are its walk-through aquariums, dioramas with life-size animals depicting everyday life on the African plains, and an indoor mountain featuring about 100 wild game mounts in their North American habitats. The store has a 12,000-square-foot trophy museum. RV parking is available. To learn more, call (304) 238-0120.
