Kalahari Waterpark Resort in Sandusky, Ohio, opens May 20. The 80,000-square-foot indoor waterpark will have a FlowRider surfing ride and Zip Coaster uphill waterslide. The African-themed property (similar to the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells) will feature a lobby with animal sculptures, fireplaces, and a waterfall; a store stocked with authentic African girls; Kahuna Grille Island Restaurant and Party Bar; and an indoor nine-hole mini-golf course.
