The effects of academic environment and background characteristics on student satisfaction and performance: the case of South Carolina State University's School of Business

The survey was limited to students in the School of Business at South Carolina State University. A future survey should involve more business schools including schools at private institutions to provide findings comprehensive enough to be generalized to more colleges and universities. Such endeavors would provide a fruitful agenda for future research.
