Way better than Sara Lee
Vegetarian Journal, May-June, 2002
At least we think so. The Fillo Factory introduces two delicious vegan desserts: an apple strudel, packed with apples, raisins, and cane sugar, and 12 assorted pastries (apple, blueberry, and cherry). The streudel is wonderful, as good or better than other frozen dessert pastries, and the small pastries are absolutely delicious and so low in fat, you could eat the whole box and still only have consumed 6 grams of fat.
For more information about these products, their vegan pastry shells, or their spelt fillo dough, contact the Fillo Factory at 74 Cortland Avenue, Dumont, NJ 07628-0155. You can also visit <www.fillofactory.com>.
