Burger King french fries update

Vegetarian Journal, May-June, 2003

As of April 28, 2003, Burger King's Media Relations Department has informed us that poultry-derived amino acid is no longer part of the natural flavoring used on the restaurant chain's French fries. We are waiting for written confirmation. For more information, visit <www.vrg.org>.

However, please note that the Burger King website contains the following: "Burger King Corporation makes no claim that the BK VEGGIE[TM] Burger or any other of its products meets the requirements of a vegan or vegetarian diet."
