Dosage

P. africanum extract is usually administered at a dose (standardized to contain 14% triterpenes including beta-sitosterol and 0.5 % n-docosanol) of 50-100 mg twice daily. (18) The efficacy of Pygeum extract at 50 mg twice daily and 100 mg once daily has been shown to be equivalent. (12)
