NXP Semiconductors appoints senior execs

NXP Semiconductors, formerly Philips Semiconductors, has appointed four senior executives to the board of management of its holding company NXP b.v.
The company has named Frans van Houten as president and CEO and chairman, Peter van Bommel as EVP and CFO, and Theo Claasen and Hein van der Zeeuw as EVPs.
NXP has also assigned Sir Peter Bonfield as chairman of its supervisory board. Bonfield is former CEO of BT and chairman and CEO of ICL, now Fujitsu Services.
