> Sydney: The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission backs a revised A$1.30 billon ($728 million) alliance between Foxtel and SingTel Optus to share pay TV programs, on the grounds that the deal would provide improved access programs for all pay TV operators and a broader consumer choice. The ACCC also approves a proposal by Telstra to bundle pay TV and telecoms services under certain conditions.
