WiMAX mobile standard products

ArrayComm and TeleCIS Wireless have entered into a joint development agreement to create products based on the upcoming WiMAX "802.16e" (mobile) standard.
TeleCIS Wireless will support ArrayComm's smart antenna solutions in its multi-protocol WiMAX mobile chip, while ArrayComm will design its smart antenna solutions to facilitate enhanced performance of the TeleCIS chip.
According to TeleCIS Wireless, devices with TeleCIS technology and the ArrayComm solution will achieve gains exceeding 20 dB over other solutions. ArrayComm adds that products resulting from this collaboration will offer breakthrough competitive performance to WiMAX operators, giving the ultimate benefit to consumers, who will experience faster speed and better services and applications at lower cost.
