> Tokyo: Wireless technology vendor InterDigital Technology Corporation (ITC) signs separate royalty-licensing agreements for its core 3G wireless technology with NEC and Japan Radio Company. The NEC deal also resolves a royalty dispute aver a 1995 licensing agreement between NEC and ITC. NEC settles with a $53 million payout, and also offers a $19.3 million advance on its 3G technology royalty payments.
