Huawei Technologies says strong overseas growth boosted its global sales last year by 42% to $3.83b, a record for the 16-year-old company. Overseas sales, which now account for 27% of the company's total sales, rose by 90% to $1.05b, compared to $552 million a year earlier. The domestic market generated $2.78b last year, up 29% from $2.148b in 2002.
