IP-PBX technology fuels IP-centric solutions
Telecom Asia, March, 2004
The enterprise IP PBX market has moved well beyond the days of protracted testing and into substantial numbers of deployments. A report from ABI says that while businesses are not likely to upgrade their legacy systems to IP-based systems, nearly all new deployments have some degree of IP components. By 2006 ABI more than 90% of all new IP-PBX seats will be on all-IP systems. IP PBX seat shipments are projected to grow from 3.2 million in 2003 to 26 million in 2009.
