Added RF spectrum analyzer option
Telecom Asia, March, 2008 by Fiona
Aeroflex has added a new RF spectrum analyzer option for the 3500 handheld 1-GHz radio test set. The new option allows users to see the signals they are receiving.
Using an advanced Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm, the 3500 spectrum analyzer option provides an almost instantaneous display of the RF frequency spectrum. The 3500 can measure signal levels down to -136 dBm, providing advanced signal analysis in a lightweight platform, weighing less than 8.5 lbs.
The 3500 spectrum analyzer includes span ranges of 10 kHz to 5 MHz and an effective resolution bandwidth as small as 19 Hz.
