Hong Kong: China Mobile and China Unicom declare first-ever dividends. China Mobile, which recorded a 17% higher profit of 32.7 billion yuan in 2002, also announces a stock buy-back. Unicom, which saw its 2002 profit rose 2.5% to 4.57 billion yuan, says it will continue dividend payments, but analysts were wary on whether the firm could maintain the high yield.
