Beijing: China Telecom is to set up a US branch office to explore business opportunities in the international market. The US office will be established on the back of China Telecom's representative office, which was opened 19 months ago, and will mark the beginning of the company's five-year plan aimed at becoming an international competitive company, a senior China Telecom director told the China Daily.
