Telecom Asia, July, 2002
Wellington: New Zealand competition watchdog, the Commerce Commission, says it will investigate TelstraClear's application for a ruling on an interconnection dispute between the company and incumbent Telecom Corporation of New Zealand (TCNZ). The Commission adds it won't carry out a separate investigation into two other TCNZ applications, as the issues raised by the incumbent will be addressed in the response to TelstraClear's application.
The ruling is expected in late August.
