Audio conferencing with real-time data - Briefing - Brief Article
Telecom Asia, Sept, 2003
Avaya has launched its ACS 60, an audio conferencing solution with a data collaboration application aimed at Asia Pacific businesses with conferencing requirements of up to 60 ports.
The audio conferencing system works with Avaya's web conferencing tool, DataXchange, which can be integrated with the ACS, or used as a stand-alone Web conferencing application, to allow audio conferencing participants to share data via the Internet in real time.
Avaya says that any company that spends $850 per month or more on conferencing services will find that the Avaya ACS 60 pays for itself in 12 months or less.
"The ACS 60 will open the market up to companies which previously had to go to costly service bureaus for the same features and functions that ACS can provide," says Sunny Shen, product manager for Avaya Asia-Pacific.
