It has been an honor to serve as your president in 2003 and I am looking forward to another great convention in Orlando.

The 2003 season was another exciting one for college football and the fans across the country are still talking about the thrilling performances they saw at every level of the game. It's now time to reflect on what transpired during this past season and to share our ideas for the future.
The AFCA Convention offers a tremendous opportunity to renew old friendships, improve ourselves personally and professionally, and begin our preparations for the years ahead. Our convention has grown in scope and in the depth of its speakers and we can thank Grant Teaff and the staff at the AFCA office for the job they have done in putting together all of their great programs.

The Association has grown considerably since its founding in 1922, but the convention remains its flagship event and I encourage all of you to find your way to join us in Orlando.
Once again I would like to thank Grant, our staff, and the Board of Trustees for all they do for the Association and for all the support and guidance they extended to me the past year. It was a kindness I will always remember.
See you in Orlando.
