Cheers to PETA - Sharing: letters from our readers - Letter to the Editor

Better Nutrition, Dec, 2003 by M.J. Brooks

Cheers to PETA for its work on behalf of abused animals, and cheers to Ann Martin for enlightening us about it ("Researching Pet Food," October 2003, p. 64). I, for one, switched my brand of pet food to one on PETA's list of those that don't engage in animal testing, and I encourage others to do so as well. The abuses are sickening and particularly ironic given that the perpetrators claim to care about the animals for which they produce their products. The best way to stop it is to boycott them. When money talks, business always listens.
