Spice up your blood - Goodnews: essential natural health news - Brief Article

Better Nutrition, April, 2004

Like cinnamon? if you're diabetic, you should. Taken daily, powdered cinnamon can lower blood glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides in people with type 2 diabetes. The daily amount required for beneficial effect appears to be half a teaspoon. The study appeared in the December 2003 issue of Diabetes Care.
