An analysis sis in the January 2004 edition of the American Journal of Hypertension shows that if Americans would simply eat three to four servings of dairy foods per day, there would be a huge health benefit: a reduction in hypertension, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, kidney stones and colorectal cancer.
In addition to the health benefits, this simple diet change could save $200 billion in health care costs over 5 years.
