Better Nutrition, June, 2001

> As an antioxidant, vitamin E's anticancer abilities were highlighted by researchers from Los Angeles' UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Amy T. Rose and Dr. David W. McFadden, in a study which appeared in the Journal of Surgical Research, 2001. Test-tube studies using vitamin E held back the growth of gastric cancer cells, which add to findings already on record in regards to protection against cancers of the pancreas, breast and prostate.
