A study by the US Food and Drug Administration has found acrylamide in black olives, teething biscuits and prune juice. This probable carcinogen was linked in 2002 to carbohydrate-rich foods fried at high temperatures--especially French fries. Some scientists have repeated their calls for a limit on acrylamide in foods.
