Walgreens offers new language services - Market Watch - can print prescription drug information in seven other languages - Brief Article

DEERFIELD, ILL. -- To better serve the nation's increasingly diverse population, Walgreens Co. has begun offering a service that lets prescription drug customers at it 3,734 stores request their medicine labels be printed in seven languages other than English. The languages offered include Spanish, Chinese, French, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Vietnamese.

Citing figures from the 2000 U.S. Census, the company noted that 18% of the population speaks a language other than English at home.
