WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization that produces "Sesame Street," is launching a program that will utilize a coalition of partners and an advisory board of health, nutrition, fitness and education experts--but excluding food industry input--to develop and distribute multi-media, age-appropriate content targeted to preschoolers and parents on eating.

A 5-A-Day component with the Produce For Better Health Foundation is envisioned, however. The programs will include home videos, book titles and interactive media. Two public service announcements under the program already have been developed.
